Comfy Tie-Dye Adventures

Top-Urban Outfitters / Pants-Zara / Shoes & bag-Forever 21

I love random days full of adventure! (And cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory!)
BTW- I think I'm over the cold now.
I'll leave you with a song:

Red Hot

 Blouse-H&M / Leopard print corduroy shorts-Forever 21 / Red pumps-TJ Maxx / Watch- Marc by Marc Jacobs / Bracelets - Forever 21 / Bag-Furor Moda

Not much to say today- I've been so exhausted lately with work. Yoga is completely making up for it though and giving me some of that strength back. I'm so addicted to it.

Also, I've been longing to go shopping for so long! I haven't gone shopping since Christmas (I purchased this amazing blouse at H&M in Dallas when we visited then). Maybe this weekend? :-)

P.S. That last picture is the sunset view from our balcony. Absolutely breathtaking!

Boyfriend Shirt.

 Over-sized blouse-My Husband's/Purple jeans-Forever 21/Shoes-M.E./Bag-The Sak/Sunglasses-H&M

So I seriously cannot get enough of this white, crisp blouse I "stole" from my husband John's closet a few months ago. Since then, I've worn it as a dress with a belt and with some shorts to a Cold War Kids concert. I usually roll up the sleeves and tie the tips to give it that over-sized look.

With this outfit, I really wanted to wear my new red suede pumps so I decided to pair it with a pair of purple pants that were just as bright in color. The white blouse really offsets it in a great way.

Even with the Texas heat (yes, it's still continuing through October) I felt really airy and flowy in this outfit!

Fall Romance

Blazer-H&M/Top-Urban Outfitters/Shorts-Forever 21/Shoes-M.E./Clutch-Sam Moon

Dinner at Sago's in Austin Friday night. Dog Parks. Red shoes. Mexican food (or "regular" food for my husband and I haha).Micheladas & Mexican Martinis! Yum! I'm so very sleepy right now it's ridiculous. It has definitely been a longgggg week. I already can't wait for the weekend to arrive again. I have gotten myself a few new toys this past week. One of them is this amazing pair of red suede pumps! They're my new favorite shoe and they're pretty comfortable :)

Pussybow

Pussybow blouse-Asos/Maroon leather skirt & cocktail ring-Forever 21/Shoes-Zara/Red Clutch-Sam Moon

Yes, I thought that was a funny name for a blouse also. Anyway, this is my new favorite blouse from Asos. I know, I know, I've been using this color palate WAYYY too much, but I warned you all, haha! I guess you could say this is my "Fall obsession". I'm so glad I can finally say that the weather here in Austin is "a-changing" and it is now getting a little cooler. It's so great!

Pumpkin and the Patch

 Sweater, bag & shoes-Forever 21/Shorts-Urban Outfitters

Wouldn't that be a great name for a children's book?! :) One of my favorite things for the Fall season are pumpkin patches. I would love to take a sleeping bag and place it right in the middle of millions of pumpkins and fall asleep under the stars. I'm weird, I know :) This one was a smaller one right outside of a Whole Foods Market right by our apt. The only thing that would have made it 100% better was if the weather was at least a good 60 degrees F instead of 101 degrees F.

Oxford "Coma"

 Oh, you boys!

 Vest-Urban Outfitters/Jeans-Zara/Oxfords-Steve Madden/Satchel-Vintage Coach/Ring & Hat-Forever 21

I've definitely have been in an "oxford coma". I decided to take my Oxfords out for another spin. I love the versatility of these shoes-they go with everything! I spent most of the weekend hanging out with my husband John and my brother-in-law Chris (like usual haha). After lunch on Sunday, we decided to go walk around The Arboretum (shopping center in Austin). We live right down the street from it and we needed to walk off the pound of food we had just eaten. I've always loved the view from this place. That picture above does not do it justice-it is seriously breathtaking. We ended up at this eccentric toy shop, Toy Joy. They have the funnest and weirdest toys and trinkets for everyone and anyone (as you can tell in some of the pictures above).

The weather in Austin has become bearable in the past few days. We are no longer in the 100+ degrees. I believe it actually dropped down to 86 degrees the other day! I haven't thought about it 'till now because of all of the fires that have happened lately.  Miles and miles of burnt houses and land. You  can see the smoke cloud from the center of the city. We DEFINITELY need some rain PRONTO!

'Cause I'm cool like that

1. Lunch at Home Slice Pizzeria on South Congress Ave.
2. Pizza man from Home Slice
3. Belgian chocolate with sprinkles on a homemade waffle cone from Amy's Ice Cream
4. About 1/30 of "Lucy in Disguise" costumes (for rent/buy) (First seen here)
5. View of Downtown Austin from the South Congress bridge

Some days I just feel like being such a tourist and hitting all of the Austin "staples". I guess these places can be considered both "local" and "touristy". I can never get enough of it. We also ended up hitting "Highball" later that night for some drinks and dancing. Now that place is fun: confetti, glow sticks, foam falling from the sky and GREAT remixed music. Very chill Saturday night :-)
