So I know this is a CRAP overload of pictures and I have no idea why I'm posting them about a month later. It was a great 24th birthday! We ate at many different restaurants, went to Molly Mae's Pub ob Burbank St., went to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and toured through the greater part of West Hollywood including the Griffith Observatory. Yes, we did A LOT; and that was not all. I'll let the picture tell the story though.
The sun is shining again and all I want to do is go to the lake, go swimming, tubing, or do any sort of water activity. I am also officially booked for my L.A. trip so that has me flying! I am so excited I might as well be bouncing off the walls.
So I've recently realized that there are only about 2 months left for my "pre-planned" trip to Los Angeles, CA. The excitement is definitely building up, so for my own sake, I hope these plans definitely come about. There always seems to be either a very minor or a very major flaw when big plans are made. The two in my life always seem to be time & money. If it wasn't for those two very annoying life factors, I'm sure everyone's life would be a lot more exhilarating. Nonetheless, these two very annoying life factors so make the world go 'round. Oh, poo.
I'm so excited I could throw up! ...but I won't :)
These AMAZING Jeffrey Campbell "Lita" platforms from Shoestruck.com
This GORGEOUS broderie anglaise cotton skirt by Stella McCartney from Net-A-Porter.com
Both Neivz x Large black cross bar ring & purple O'Clock watch by 80's purple.com are going on my wish list as well!
I have been doing wayyyy too much online "window" shopping lately. I'm in limbo with still wanting winter clothing but falling in love with all of the SS11 lines! I can't tell you how many shopping websites I have bookmarked in the last 2 day...ay no.
Anyway, I was listening to Pandora at work today, like I do everyday as that is the only thing that keeps me going (other that some yummy green tea), and one of the songs that came up from my "Cold War Kids radio station" was Talk Show Host by Radiohead. I remember the first time I heard that song. I didn't know what to think of it. Am I happy? Am I sad? All I knew is that that was one of the most beautiful songs I had ever heard. In my husband's words: "It's like a sunny, rainy day." I agree. Either way, I was hooked. So, I'll leave you with the video, and let you boil up some feelings.
Oh, yea and it was in Romeo +Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio & Claire Danes :)
I didn't even know since I heard that song way after this movie came out haha
