So it finally got cold like I wanted it to, and then I got sick. Ugh. Just my luck. Well I'm finally getting over that so that's ONE of the reasons I've been MIA lately. The other? Well, I don't have another, haha. Anyway, I still feel a little tired so excuse the short post. I bought this sweater while it was still hot here in Texas. I was finally able to wear it this past weekend to lunch with my husband. I bought it from this store called Garage. The salesgirl actually informed me that this is a Canadian brand and the only other store in Texas was in Houston. They had such cute stuff, but I did have to restrain myself from doing some serious damage.

Dinner at Sago's in Austin Friday night. Dog Parks. Red shoes. Mexican food (or "regular" food for my husband and I haha).Micheladas & Mexican Martinis! Yum! I'm so very sleepy right now it's ridiculous. It has definitely been a longgggg week. I already can't wait for the weekend to arrive again. I have gotten myself a few new toys this past week. One of them is this amazing pair of red suede pumps! They're my new favorite shoe and they're pretty comfortable :)

So yea, I've been MIA for a while. It happens at random. Its okay, I'm back now. :-)

Let's catch up!: I've been to L.A. and back and it was great! Started practicing hot yoga. Excited about the Fall-its my favorite season.

On Saturday I decided to go for a Romantic Casual feel with nude tones, a playful top and big hair! :) I found this amazing clutch bag at Metro Park in Austin. The store is currently under liquidation. Bad for them, awesome prices for us! 

That night we ended up going to this awesome arcade and played for about 2 hours while drinking beer. Good times.

The hubby and I had a San Antonio adventure this past Saturday. We randomly go visit the bro-in-law to spend some time away. I went with a more comfortable outfit for the day because I knew we'd be doing a lot of walking. We drove around the ever confusing San Antonio highway system and finally ended up downtown at the Riverwalk. We went "sightseeing", ate Hagen Daas ice cream, and finally ended up back home playing a very interesting board game and having a few drinks. I, of course, had a virgin Clamato. Delicious!

The song for the night, at least for me, was "Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin :) It's just one of those songs you want to sing over and over again for the entire night. Can't tell you how many times I've actually done that (right, Tina?) haha. Can't get enough!

Blue Valentine

 

Blue Valentine night! Wow, what a great movie. It was like the most perfect romantic, non-romantic movie ever. I don't want to spoil any details...just watch it!

After the movie we went over to the Barnes & Noble right next to the theater to purchase some medical books and references for John. I managed to sneak off to the travel section (my favorite section, other that the fashion section) and wandered into the Europe shelves. I wanted it all! I want to start brushing up on everything I need to know about Europe- I think that is the actual title of one of the books there. Anyway, we then went to a coffee shop by Lake Travis called Mozart's. It was so cozy and pretty. We will definitely be going back there.
