I might've not mentioned this yet, but purple is by far my favorite color. You might understand my shock when I realized that I DO NOT own a purple top (other than my yoga tops). I came across this beauty when I was perusing at TJ Maxx about a week ago. I've been iffy to wear any spring clothes because I am not much into flat sandals and John and I usually do A LOT of walking on the weekends, so wearing heels does not even enter my mind. Oh well, lookie here :-)

So this was my Thanksgiving Day outfit. It was quite a long, long day that day. The weather was actually bearable that day and my parents in law have such a pretty garden growing in their back yard that I decided to make it my backdrop. These leave were all over the grass while I was taking pictures so I decided to incorporate them into the shoot. I think a real detailed drawing of this kind of leaf would look so pretty as a tattoo. BUT, that's just me. I really dig expression through art. What do you all think?

My Cup of Tea

Red Hot Cup of Tea is simply a play on words that made my brain go, "Hmm, interesting..." Make of it whatever you'd like. I'm of the kind that likes to dress accordingly to...whatever. I do occasionally wake up on the "wrong side of the bed", but "wrong" doesn't always mean bad in my world, just different. I take life as it comes and as it goes. I guess I'm unbiased-ask me for my opinion. I'll tell you.

This first posting is a reflection of my simpler days, lazy days, and traveling days (went back home for the holidays). I can sometimes be subjective when it comes to getting dressed or even on what kind of food I put in my body. Rambling now...music, shoes, bows, Parisian couture, world traveling infatuations, to be continued...
