Sugar Sugar

So, holy cray-I've been out for a while! John and I took these pictures this past weekend while we were down in South Congress having lunch. I love that part of Austin, I can always find a new backdrop for pictures. I have cut my hair short and have decided to get another tattoo. I'm not 100% on what I want yet, but I have a few ideas in mind.

Also, I have joined Instagram. It is definitely addictive. I'm @sandracdavila if anyone wants to add!

See ya!

Two-toned

Two-toned sweater, booties, & necklace-Forever 21 / Bag-Jessica Simpson / Sunglasses-H&M

Saturday was such a BEAUTIFUL day! Can you tell? I was definitely very comfy in my n ew sweater from Forever 21. I decided to go for a simple look and pair it with some jeans and my tan booties. We usually do a lot of "adventuring" on Saturdays around the city, which means A LOT of walking. John is always very comfy, being a guy and all and not ever knowing what it is like to walk 10 miles in a pair of pumps. I, on the other hand, need to think of a more comfortable (yet still cute) approach. I have to say, I think I did well.

I love random days full of adventure! (And cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory!)
BTW- I think I'm over the cold now.
I'll leave you with a song:

Christmas sweater

 Shorts -Forever 21 / Tights-Target / Sweater-Nordstrom Rack / Boots-Asos / Purse-FurorModa.com / Headband-Sam Moon

My Christmas sweater amped up a bit. Had a long long Christmas weekend in Dallas, TX, and now I'm exhausted (as usual). Ready for the new year!

P.S. This song has been in my head probably since I attended the show a few months ago. Enjoy.

Mrs. Freddy Krueger

Shorts, necklace & tights-Forever 21/Boots-Asos/Striped sweater-Old Navy/Hat-thrifted/Bag-The Sak
This outfit totally reminded me of Freddy Krueger but in a more "stylish" way, haha. I was certain of this when I walked out of the room and John goes, "Freddy Kreuger?", when I asked him what he thought of my outfit. "I like it , though," he said. Well me too!

The pictures towards the bottom are from this past Wednesday when John and I went to the Chevelle concert at La Zona Rosa here in Austin. They have been one of my favorite bands for such a long time, that I definitely could not pass up the opportunity of seeing them live-even if I only got to sleep a few hours. Story of my life- and I love it.

P.S. I think I need some new black opaque tights. Any suggestions on where I can get some that are REALLY REALLY dark?

Also, this following video was actually take by me at the show, and then I uploaded it onto YouTube.com.

Wedding Daze

I recently attended my friend/co-worker Carey's wedding. It was amazingly beautiful! Everything was so classic and simply breathtaking! After all of the planning for months & months, it was so awesome to see it all come together. John and I had a great time eating the delicious food that was served (& cake!) , having yummy drinks (prickly pear margaritas) and exploring what is Laguna Gloria. I was able to catch the bride in her "sprint" across the venue after the ceremony for a quick photo. She looked so beautiful!

My camera, of course, was blinking "low battery" since the moment I turned it on during the ceremony, because silly me, forgot to charge it. These were some of the shots I was able to get of the night before it gave out.

Autum City

It was definitely pretty windy while taking these pictures. I was holding my hair down in about 97% of the pictures I got. The other 3% were not that good, haha. Anyway, I got a lot of compliments on my corduroy cheetah print shorts! I love them! They're so comfy!

So, the pictures towards the bottom are from Mandola's restaurant here in Austin. I loveeee going there whenever I'm in the mood for authentic, homemade Italian food. It is delicious!!! We ended up getting a slice of the Italian Creme Cake-yum!

Gypsy Picnic

So John and I went to the Gypsy Picnic this past Saturday at Auditorium Shores. The Gypsy Picnic is when all of the food carts around town come together in one large space and people are able to sample everyone's food. With it being Austin and all, there were some "wierd" names for these carts and also some questionable food. I have always been one to try something new and exciting so I did-including a vegan chocolate covered frozen banana from a place called "Bananarchy". It was freaking delicious! There was also live music and of course "street performers".

I have also always loved the view from this part of the city. It's breathtaking. Just look at it!

My favorite street performers
