Mrs. Freddy Krueger

Shorts, necklace & tights-Forever 21/Boots-Asos/Striped sweater-Old Navy/Hat-thrifted/Bag-The Sak
This outfit totally reminded me of Freddy Krueger but in a more "stylish" way, haha. I was certain of this when I walked out of the room and John goes, "Freddy Kreuger?", when I asked him what he thought of my outfit. "I like it , though," he said. Well me too!

The pictures towards the bottom are from this past Wednesday when John and I went to the Chevelle concert at La Zona Rosa here in Austin. They have been one of my favorite bands for such a long time, that I definitely could not pass up the opportunity of seeing them live-even if I only got to sleep a few hours. Story of my life- and I love it.

P.S. I think I need some new black opaque tights. Any suggestions on where I can get some that are REALLY REALLY dark?

Also, this following video was actually take by me at the show, and then I uploaded it onto YouTube.com.

Le Mouse Love

I've gotta say, Austin is looking more and more beautiful everyday. The greens and the oranges are like nothing I've seen before. Even though the weather has been a little on the gloomy side, it is still a sight. I've recently been working on figuring out what kind of job I really want to do, since the whole "office job" was just a temporary thing since the beginning. I haven't had much luck since I want to do a lot of things. I guess I need to keep working on that. Someone help, haha.

All I want right now, is some hot tea and to cozy up on my amazingly comfortable couch. I definitely wish the weekend was just 1 more day longer than usual.

Hot child in the city

Okay so I went a little crazy on the picture taking, but I just bought a new camera and the picture quality is so amazing that now I have more to choose from. Now even John enjoys taking pictures of me because he gets to use it. We ended up a a park near downtown Austin after having lunch at this place called The Screaming Goat (GREAT Mexican food, BTW). It was such a beautiful day outside that we decided to do the most we could.

After the park we went vintage shopping, out to a local coffee shop, and ended up at Encore Records, a local record store. I was exhausted. I'm always excited when the weekend is right around the corner and I can take at least 2 days off from the craziness that is my job.

Come fly with me

...let's fly, let's fly away! I love Frank Sinatra. He's so dreamy! I guess I like the whole old-fashioned New York style that exudes from his being. Well, his voice has something to do with it as well. I have no idea why I'm going on a rant about him now. That song randomly pops into my head at times.

It was actually quite a beautiful day in Austin yesterday. The sun was out, the wind was blowing, and then it got really cold right about at 7pm. It was nice while it lasted. John and I did a lot of window shopping. Mostly for our apt. We ended up at Anthropologie in the home section. I love how all of their stuff is so out of the ordinary and has a sort of vintage feel to it. I'm a sucker for a pastel colored porcelain plate. I could've spent hours there, but of course, I moved on to the clothes section.

Oh well.
